NJ EMT-Basics can complete ALL their elective credits online!
As of April 1, 2010 the NJ Training Fund will no longer be an option for payment and users will need to either purchase credits at $5 per credit hour, or pay for an unlimited membership ($55 for one year). Are you a New Jersey EMT-Basic ? If yes, follow these instructions.

| Only courses listed for New Jersey approval will count for recertification. If the certificate you earn does not have a NJ Approval code listed, the credits WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED to NJ OEMS. Contact our office for more information. |

• Click on the Register link and follow the instructions.
• Choose a payment method. Enter in your user information. Be sure to enter your new 6-digit EMT-Basic ID number exactly as it appears on your card, (no dashes).
• Click on the Lectures/Tests button and follow the link to the NJ approved lectures.

| MedicEd.com will electronically submit completed courses and volunteer verification information on a regular basis to the New Jersey OEMS. Individuals do not need to send their certificates to OEMS. Individuals may view and print out course completion certificates for their own records. MedicEd.com maintains your certificates in the “My Profile” under the "CEU Manager" section of your account. |

| As a reminder, only courses completed in the New Jersey approved section will count for New Jersey EMT-Basic recertification. All other courses not listed will not be counted. Only elective CEUs may be completed. |

What About New Jersey Paramedics?
New Jersey paramedics may complete any of the content in the main Lectures/Tests section. Follow National Registry guidelines. Currently 12 hours may be completed online (distributive education) for National Registry. |

What if I Only Have a National Registry Card?
If you only hold a current National Registry card and work in New Jersey as an EMT-Basic, you may complete lectures in either the main lecture section or the New Jersey Approved section. HOWEVER, only the New Jersey Approved lectures will count towards a New Jersey certification if you decide to become New Jersey certified. |
